This Post Has No Name

Rocco liked my birthday balloons

The cake that Oscar decided was worth pitching a fit over (It wasn't even his birthday!) He said I HAD to have the pretty ballerinas. It wasn't worth the battle. Though I really would've preferred the chocolate ganache.

We are happy to see the arrival of summer... We've been playing outside and taking lots of walks in the sun. Rocco is enjoying his ongoing studies of the outdoors... He's working on a thesis, actually. Grass: Is It Good for the Human Infant's Digestive System? Results will be posted as they come filtering in.... (out??) hmmm. This is, of course, a follow-up to his popular publication, Sand: Is It An Effective Colon Cleanse? Click here to see the video intro to this topic... (We recommend letting the entire video finish loading before playing.)

Rocco has thrown himself into these studies- devouring nearly every questionable item within his reach. In fact, just today I had to pay for an item at Target that had no tag on it due to Rocco having consumed the thing during our shopping... His devotion to his work is admirable!

Owen is such a cool big brother to Rocco! Here he's relishing his task of giving Rocco a bottle...

Oscar & Owen had their first day of farm camp today. They gave it a two-thumbs-up! Oscar's favorite activity was holding a chick. Owen most enjoyed feeding the pigs and patting Luke Skywalker, the bunny. Although, he was also pretty interested to see a severed turkey head and feet...

Lola is, once again, a bit unpresentable... This time she had a run-in with a Newfie at doggie daycare on Friday. She was just being her bouncy self at the entrance gate, but he had his head hanging over the edge and wasn't amused by her foolish antics and took a chomp at her face after having given her a couple of warning growls first. So she's missing some fur in that spot and is afraid to report that she looks rather unsightly. Her adoring fans will just have to wait for a glimpse of her until her wounds have healed. She cannot be seen in such a state! She is, however, hoping that said wounds heal before Wednesday, when she is expecting a visit from her new friend (we hope,) Molly. My parents have a new goldendoodle (part golden retriever, part standard poodle) puppy and it's very exciting. We think she is just the cutest thing in town and we can't wait to meet her!

That's about it for now. We're waiting patiently for our boat to be splashed so we can start cruising the lake again for the season... We can them amuse ourselves by doing nautical "drive-bys" of the house near us where it's rumored that Tom Brady (New England Patriots) just bought a home!
